television service on Campus (available in August)
Washington State University proudly offers cable TV to our residents living in the residence halls and apartments via a standard coaxial CATV connection (except in Olympia Avenue Hall).
We also offer over 90 channels of Video Over IP service in via Philo.com to all residents of residence halls and apartments. The Philo service is available everywhere on the WSU network both wired and wireless on most devices. It is presently NOT available in most WSU Apartments but we are working on getting this service to all our apartments. Presently Chief Joseph E and F buildings and Yakama Village can receive Philo.
We also provide service to many academic departments via CATV if available or via Philo.

For users of the Campus Cable TV (CATV) system:
The system will be down for maintenance most of the day 8/4/2015 beginning around 7:00 AM until 8/5/2015.
Following this maintenance period the system will consist of 85+ channels, 65+ of which are HD. The channel lineup will change somewhat from what it has been. Your favorite channels may have moved or may no longer be available.
Channel lineup will be updated shortly to reflect new availavle channels

Note that as of 8/4/2015 we no longer will offer analog service on the campus CATV system.
Those still using analog televisions will need to purchase a new digital television or an outboard QAM tuner/converter.
